Homer Theatre is available for Birthdays, Corporate
Events, Live Theatre, Musical Shows, School Events
and Private Movie Showings. We can provide a special
showing of the current movies or show virtually any
other presentation you would like.

Community Member,
Everyone enjoys a great movie on the
big
screen. There seems to be no disputing
that. In addition to the entertainment value of the
film, movie-going is an enjoyable social event to
share with others.
The Homer Theatre auditorium provides an environment
unmatched for group gatherings. Perfect acoustics,
a superior digital sound system, comfortable
seating, a P.A. system and a new digital projection
system capable of displaying PowerPoint
presentations, photo montages, videos, DVDs, video
games, etc. all combine to provide the perfect
environment for making a
“BIG” impression on an audience.
While most people think of the theatre as only
having specific show times for current movies, we
are actually very flexible. A private showing can
be arranged at a time and date that works with your
group. Or, you may want to rent the theatre for a
block of time in order to have an event, party or
meeting utilizing the digital projector. Concession
services are available or Homer Theatre has provided
a list of local caterers if that better suits your
event. An organization may want to treat members to
a “free” movie to generate attendance and then take
advantage of the opportunity to do a presentation
beforehand.
So,
imagine these scenarios listed below and consider
the Homer Theatre when organizing your next group
event. The possibilities are only limited by your
imagination!

Think of
your son’s next birthday party where he and his
friends can watch a DVD of their choice and then
spend an hour playing video games on the
BIG
SCREEN. We may have to turn the decibel
level down on the boys’ hootin’ and hollerin’!

Imagine
Mom and Dad’s 50th wedding anniversary
with a touching video montage of their marriage and
life together displayed on the
BIG
SCREEN, viewed by their closest family and
friends over tubs of popcorn, reindeer sausage hot
dogs, giant pretzels and fountain drinks. If you
had something else in mind besides theatre fare,
Homer Theatre has compiled a list of local catering
services for your needs.

Do you have a computer
presentation or lecture that you would like to
provide a number of people but lack the space? Our
theatre seats 215 people and also includes three
couches with coffee tables. Anything on your
computer can be displayed onto the
BIG
SCREEN. If it is a morning business meeting,
Homer Theatre can provide coffee and tea service.

Are you a
poet, a thespian, a performance artist or a fashion
designer that wants to present a program on stage
and have video images behind you on the
BIG
SCREEN? The Homer Theatre is equipped with a
DVD/CD player and Shoutcast Radio for music
entertainment. Our LCD projector can play your
digital images on the
BIG
SCREEN. The stage in front of the screen is
12 feet by 25 feet and the stage lighting has
dimming capabilities.

Are you a
teacher or school administrator and would like to
offer a private showing to your students on the
BIG
SCREEN surrounded by their fellow students,
teachers and teacher’s aides? With a minimum of 50
students, a special discount rate applies that
includes admission and a free concession item for
one small fee.
